The people of the mountains cried out in vain for the gods Perun and his wife Prporuša to grant them rain, placing rich offerings at empty springs. The young shepherd Darko takes his courage in both hands and hikes one step by another up the dried valleys and mountains, facing his destiny – the thirst burning his throat. Love drives him to find a rare black rose for his beloved Jasna, yet every moment spent seems to prove him wrong. It’s too late to go back, will his next step be his last?
